An year ago, the Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP has mastered art of false propaganda.

The infamous BJP propaganda saying that Modi stopped the Ukraine Russia war so that Indian students can come out safely – unforgettable. In February this year, external affairs minister Mr. S Jaishankar in a reply to a question provided the country-wise details of deaths of Indian students abroad since 2018.

The data showed 91 Indian students died in Canada, 48 in the UK, 40 in Russia, 36 in the US, 35 in Australia, 21 in Ukraine and 20 in Germany.

According to ThePrint, nearly 18,000 Twitter accounts spread ‘fake news’ for BJP, 147 do it for Congress. So the probability of you getting fake information from the BJP remains much higher.

As elections come nearer, the fake or manipulated posts increase. The political parties are only testing your intelligence. Much of this is dished out knowing very well that the general public does not have the time, inclination or knowledge to cross verify.

Since this method is becoming overbearing now, the time has come to call out this bluff.
