Why do you keep seeing ads showing Modi ji and some statistics next to it? Did you ask for it? Is it relevant at all? Why misleading ads are being released by the BJP?
The BJP government led by Prime Minister Modi is very hesitant to release any data in the public domain that would affect the perceptions that have been created by them. More so, when the economy is on the backfoot, rising prices, all time high unemployment and a global recession staring in the face. In this episode I discuss some of the disturbing facts that we should be worried about.
The TRS has a lot to showcase in Telangana. The state has progressed significantly in the last eight years. The BJP is again on the wrong foot in trying to target the TRS. With the Presidential and Vice Presidential elections just around the corner, BJP is getting into action.
In spite of having a majority in the electoral college, the party appears worried. Its their own allies that are giving the BJP bosses sleepless nights.
Karnataka is being let down by the politicians. It’s rather painful to see, the once upon a time India’s premier state, going down since it appears to be in the wrong hands.
The next assembly elections in Karnataka are due in may 2023.
If the BJP does not carry out a course correction, it could well see Karnataka slipping our of it’s hands.

The story doesn’t end here. If we look at the national scenario of State Assemblies, BJP has been slowly losing seat share. The gain is of the regional parties.
There are many states which will go to polls before the 2024 General Elections. I try to to visualize the outcomes based on today’s political sentiments.
Lastly, at the risk of being proven wrong, and rather too early in the day, I extrapolate the same arithmetic to the 2024 General Elections. The results are very surprising.

In 2004, both the Vajpayee government at the center, and the Naidu government in Andhra Pradesh were voted out by the people of India.
This happened in spite of the fact that both government performed well during their five-year term.
