The next assembly elections in Karnataka are due in may 2023.
If the BJP does not carry out a course correction, it could well see Karnataka slipping our of it’s hands.

KTR AND ARMY’S OVERREACH IN SECUNDERABAD |WHAT DOES THIS DATA SAY| EPISODE 39
KTR threatened to cut power and water supplies to the Army in Secunderabad. A harsh statement, but there is a lot that goes behind this statement. For years the local military authorities have been troubling the citizens by blocking public roads without following the laid down legal procedures. The Secunderabad Cantonment Board is heavily tilted in favour of the Army so it cannot act independently. The Army officers are least inclined or capable to run a municipal corporation.
Pankaj Sethi, a Secunderabad based researcher, takes you through the amazing truth behind this story.

MODI’S ROAD TO 2024 JUST GOT A BIT MORE DIFFICULT |WHAT DOES THIS DATA SAY| EPISODE 38
The five state elections over – now it’s time to dig into the results. The two national parties, BJP and Congress, are both losers in terms of seats. BJP down by 50 seats and Congress by 85.
The story doesn’t end here. If we look at the national scenario of State Assemblies, BJP has been slowly losing seat share. The gain is of the regional parties.
There are many states which will go to polls before the 2024 General Elections. I try to to visualize the outcomes based on today’s political sentiments.
Lastly, at the risk of being proven wrong, and rather too early in the day, I extrapolate the same arithmetic to the 2024 General Elections. The results are very surprising.
But BJP is BJP, a tough and unpredictable opponent. Watch the full episode for some debatable yet interesting data.
